SINGAPORE : ACCOMMODATION

Hi guys.

DISCLAIMER : This entry will be about the hostel that we stayed during our 4 days 3 nights in Singapore. I'll share with you how to book the hostel, what's there and etc. So keep on reading :)

Website I referred to :- booking.com and Traveloka apps.

If you are about to survey the prices/ location, please use the incognito tabs. This is because the prices will keep on changing since the server recorded your history. So to avoid that, use incognito. Eventually, I booked our hostel from booking.com. It is very convenient and user-friendly. All you need to do is choose your hostel and pay ( I used credit card )

If the payment is through fund transfer, please do some recheck upon that website. It might be a scam !

So our hostel is Mori Hostel, Race Course Road, Lavendar. This is near Little India.

My feedback is this hostel was SUPER NICE and I like it damn much. Actually this is my first time to stay in a backpacker hostel so I didnt put any high expectation on the hostel. But this Mori Hostel's service and facilities are topnotch.

If you are a girl and travel with your girlfriends, it is better for you guys to book for the female dorm. Because if not, it will be quite a mess to stay your night with some strangers in mixed dorm.

Cost : $20 per night ( if I'm not mistaken, it'll be cheaper if you choose mixed-bed dorm)

Breakfast is included. We really enjoyed our breakfast. There is a cute pantry that we can have bread with peanut butter and strawberry jam as well as cereal. Coffee and tea are there too.

Cute isn't it right ? Every morning, we'll meet new people. During our stay there, there were Korean, Brazilian, Indonesian and some English guys. It was hella fun I swear.

Okay so next is the bed. I love our dorm so so so much. The air-cond is good and it smells nice. Comfy bed and locker is provided. You just have to bring your own lock. That's all.

They have the small curtain for privacy as well. We met backpackers from Argentina, Vietnam and Thailand. I love the Argentina one. She was very friendly and lovely. Plus, she did gave us her phone number in case we want to go to Argentina. I am so blessed ! LOL. Oh, mirror and hairdryer are also there.

Then we go to the toilet. It is a sharing toilet. We share the toilet with the rest. Yet the cleanliness is well-maintained tho.

Fyi, you dont have to bring any soap or shampoo. They are provided. Heater is there as well. And this toilet is handicapped-people-friendly. So great right ? I found it is easier for me to complete my ablution since I can use that toilet which has its own sink and slightly bigger than the other. Dry cleaning service is available but you have to pay. I dont remember how much but the range costs below $10 I think. Oh btw, dont forget to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and towel.

At night, you can lepak-lepak outside. We had our maggi at the 'lounge' on our first night there. Hihi

K lel
Smoking area is here since backpackers are not allowed to smoke in the hostel room. Here, we chatted with a girl from Wales. * she said Greece is cheap and we should go there. I'm so hyped. Our next destination perhaps hehe *

The staffs are extremely nice and very helpful. You can request for iron at the reception.

Okay I think thats all. Anything, just ask k ?

Love,

Sya ♥
