﷽
Hey there! Peace be upon you.
So it's been two weeks since I promised to write about this Aman Palestine Australia Roadshow (APAR) right?
Okay. Basically this is a major event organised by Aman Palestine Malaysia, you can check them out here. And do give them support regardless in what terms you can either it is financially or just by clicking like and share to spread the awareness. All of those do matter! Thank you in advance. You guys are the best.
So for this year's event, we had Miss Farah Adeeba, Sir Robert Martin and this one more respected guy (whom I forgot his name) as the speaker for that Sunday night. I paid more attention on the context of Miss Farah Adeeba's speech because the way she presented it is full with emotions that really touched my heart. Plus she is very pretty as well and that catch my attention too hihi.
Back to the content that she shared with us, telling about her experiences going to Gaza on 2012 and how does it looks like to witness these Palestinians suffer in their own homeland yet still tried to protect and provide the best for those activists who came to help. It is such a sad truth to be told.
There's this one time she told us that she met a local boy in this one place and she tried to entertain him, started a conversation, playing toys and make him feel happy with the activists' presence. That boy smiled and looked so happy that time. Then, she did ask him a question. "Do you want to come with me to Malaysia and you can start a new life there?" *more less like this.
The point is she asked him whether he wanted to leave Palestine or not* And guess what is his reply. A boy around 7 years old gave her this very mature answer; "I am a Palestinian and I won't ever leave my country." Oh my goodness. Look at how pure his heart is. I don't think I can give that kind of response at the age of him if I was being asked the same question. Can you see how patriotic these people are towards their country even though they have to face all those attacks and invasion by the Zionist, yet they still have the willingness to keep on fighting for their beloved land? Not to say the elderly, even this young little boy had portrayed such a noble reflection to make us think.
What had we sacrifice to our country and most importantly, what have we done to help this Palestinians? What have we committed or contributed to them? Let's just reflect ourselves back. Getting the chance to be born is a very harmony country, being raised with a lovely family and able to go to school, meeting friends and any other nikmat that we got, do we really thanks Allah for all of these? Have we?
They in Gaza, most probably won't have their parents anymore, they saw their family members being shot by the army right in front of their eyes. They have to starve and left alone to bear the breezing cold weather at night during winter. They have to sleep on the land. Like literally on the small stones with their hand as the pillow. Can you imagine that?
So in conclusion, let's start to nurture and train ourselves to be more grateful. To help more people and to give the best of us to the community for the sake of peace and justice. Remember, do not EVER feel demotivated. As long as we all in this together, we won't lose. Our job now is to start the actions. Help, donate and contribute. Allah judges you based on the effort, not the result. Start now!
This is the part that I think gave the most significant impact on me that night. And I hope it will be the same on you who read this.
And the rest of the night, we have another two speakers delivering their talk and at the end of the event, we had bidding session which is so lit! Hahaha this is my first time experiencing it and I didn't expect that it could be very fun. Lel.
I did volunteered that night whereby I supposed to serve the food to the participants. But then they switched me to this charity sale promoter. Apparently, I have to sell some stuffs that night. Great!
