[I'm early to class that day (haritu ja la :P) so I took this photo of my lecture hall] |
Assalamualaikum wbt semua!
It's been a very challenging and tough period last week for me. However.......
I SURVIVED!!! OMG HAPPYNYA ALHAMDULILLAH. TAKBIR!
I am extremely happy and relief for being able to go through that zaman kejatuhan emosi saya. And like magically after a week, I'm 90+% fine. Like before this, every single day I woke up, it feels like there's rock hanging down my heart. Sumpah rasa berat hati gila gila. I'm not saying this to make it sounded tragic but indeed, this is exactly what I've gone through last week.
I think one of the reasons why I'm getting better is because of all these new friends and seniors I met who are very very very helpful, welcoming, nice and funny. I did met a girl who took the same major as me. I met my roommate. I met my Tun Syed's seniors. I met Indonesian, Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese and many more friends in my tutorial class. I met Dhuha, this one small and CUTE little baby. I met solo tourist from Malaysia. I met handsome mat salleh (jkjk) I enjoyed meeting them and I am very grateful to Allah for this chance to meet all these wonderful fellas. Basically, hari hari saya ditemani depa depa ni :') Thanks peeps.
I don't remember whether I did mentioned about my problem regarding the enrolment process in my entry before. If I'm not mistaken, I did. Rite? Anyway, I've been going to this student centre (we called it Stop 1) to settle this problem. New semester started dy but I didn't have my fixed timetable yet. What the fish is this? Istg masa ni memang serabut gila. Plus like if I go there at 8, I'll be served around 10. 'cause there was like an ocean of people there waiting for that same purpose as mine too. And after 5 days bertempur kat situ, on the fifth day, I managed to know what is my mega problem is. Fuh. Menguji keimanan betul T^T
And my problem is................ my previous academic background required me to take this particular subject as a prerequisite subject. WHY DONT YOU TELL ME THIS ON MY FIRST DAY HERE?? WHY NOW???? Ya Allah :')
Apparently I needed to take extra subject. And I asked them how to arrange my study course and everything. Guess what is their answer.
"Oh sorry, it is impossible. It is either you commence next year or you change your major." *more less like this*
Ketidakadilan apakah ini wahai Tuhankuuuuuuu.
I called my mom and told her abt this. *I can still feel the tension of that moment while typing this aiyo*
So after adjusting my study plan which I did on my own, I can see there's a shine of hope. Jeng jeng jeng.
Rupo ruponyee, boleh ja nak buat course ni and commence this sem. Cuma nanti ceq kena tambah satu sem lagi. And this make me stay here for 7/2 years. Erm k. As long as my enrolment process is done, I'm done. Kalau dia suruh start tahun depan, I will rush home and straight away delete the previous entry abt my first day here. Malu gila weh kalau jadi centu ya Allah nauzubillah.
K my tragic story ended here.
So today I wanna show you guys some of the people and activities that I've done with them minggu lepas.
Fairuz (middle), Kak Hana (right), chicken curry and rice (beside me) |
During Dr Rafidah's sharing time. She's a lecturer in USIM (USIM student where you at 😜) |
Induction with the APAR team *I'll share about this next week ;) |
These are some of the activities that I did last week. From halal restaurant hunting with Tasha, iftar with Kak Zati at Nene Chicken (oh my goodness guys the ayam is damn nice!!!!!!), mini forum with Dr Rafidah about Islamic Liberal in Malaysia, usrah at the Shrine of Remembrance whereby we get to know abt the history of that memorial building that had cause awful impacts to us as muslim society and and also this story-telling kinda meeting regarding Palestine's issues with this awesome squad and many more. I am beyond grateful for these. This weekend we have Mega Raya at Malaysia Hall (free fooooooood) and next week, I'll be joining this one Aman Palestine Australia Roadshow. InsyaAllah I'll update about this fortnight from now. (I did alrdy. Here to read.)
Next!
Presenting to all ladies and gentlemen *drum roll pls*
MY LECTURE HALL 😍 |
Okay for my classes, at first I found it is a bit difficult to cope with the content, lecturers' accent, heap of quizzes that come out of nowhere and the venue of my class. I was lost like average 4 times a day pft. But as the time went by, I learned something. I read lecture notes before class (poyo idc), I deadly try to do all the quizzes even there's this one set I only got 2/20 lol and I figured some shortcuts to my classes in case I'm late. I will definitely use this haha. Tbh, to switch from science to commerce is a huge challenge and responsibility that I need to deal with. Pray for me everyone hihi ☺️
But overall, I think I started to love things here already. Everything is still under control and I'm still trying the best as I could!
Tambah tambah bila ada free lunch dekat uni. Lagi suka. #meow
Free food is the best food. Eh no mama, your cook is still my fav. |
Um I guess I can stop babbling now. Not many people are gonna read a super long and dry post anyway hahaha. Thank you for reading till this last few words guys.
Ha dok baca apa lagi tu? Bye xx
